Anelka is a terrible footballer. He has an attitude of 'I hate football, but I get paid plenty of money for it, so I'll carry on'. Twat. He is offering France absolutly nothing.

I agree, the fact that he has played for Arsenal, Liverpool, City and Chavski doesn't help our view on him either . Uruguay's two strikers in my eyes are far superior to what France have to offer upfront.

He has clearly demonstrated that he is quality on the big stage, just needs a couple of goals today.

Anelka is still a decent player, but i'm not sure what he's doing at the moment, trying to take it past everyone when he never does it for Chelsea which is quite odd really.

Maybe TT would come on, he has the potential to grab it by the balls if he really wants, even at this old age and after that seaso, he'd probably be proper riled up after sitting on the bench, he likes to be the man, he'd offer more up forward anyway, his team mates like him and he'd communicate well, a much more hands-on approach Poor freekick from Gourcouff, too deep, maybe the new ball isnt helping, I hear it doesnt dip as its too light

As the commentator said before they have both scored more than 80 goals combined this season.

That dive by Gallas was both pathetic and hilarious.

We can only assume Wythenshawe , you know when you blow up a baloon and don't tie it, hold the end and then release and it goes flying all over the place, like 2 metres left and then all the way right across the room, and then around in a circle or something, Ronny's frees will be like that but on a larger scale with this ball.

That dive by Gallas was both pathetic and hilarious. Gallas was the one who bumped into the player, and somehow he won the free-kick, strange one that one by the ref.

Ah, the good old days of birthday parties.... Anyway, we always knew that Ronny is the magician with the ball..

This ball really does move in the air!!! Unbelievable!!! Plus, if France win the world cup, I am going to go out in Paris, stark-bolloc*ed naked and chant "Ooh Ah Cantona.!!!!!"
