As much as I love and adore Becks, I can't help but think he looks like a spare part sitting on the bench for England.
He seems to offer nothing, its not like he can start to advise players or stand up and cheer them because the manager box is not big enough for Capello and Becks ego's.
I can't help but feel he is only there to boost England's image for there world cup bid.

He might be there to give the inexperienced lads a helping hand..I wouldn't be suprised if hes been helping Green in the past few days to get over his howler, with his experience of the sending off in 98.

If you could trade Bechams iffeminite tone for a bit of Caster Semnya's testosterone then both those athletes would improve on their faults, well Beckham, with that voice, has only one fault, Semenya has two , aww rotten.

Becks looks rather misguided while l.itering around the England bench. It's a little known fact that Beckham actually has such a low, bass-y drone of a voice that it is a necessity for him to inhale helium prior to interviews/
