McGregor is back. Holy fuck. This result is completely and utterly not shocking. I think 95% of the MMA world knew Cerrone would get fucking merked. I had Conor for a round 1 KO and glad to say that's exactly what happened. I feel sorry for the poor sods who paid 85$ to watch this god awful card. At least they could have set him up against Gaethje or something. Cerrone is done in this sport.

This fight gave us absolutely nothing. I thought there would be some shit-talking in the pressers at least. We didn't even get that. An all round waste of everyone's time.

Meh didn't pay for it so wasn't that bothered plus I had to be up at 04:30 anyway so didn't exactly go out of my way to watch it Shame but Cerrone should look at calling it a day now I think. 3 losses on the bounce now and has looked well off the pace.

Little idiot’s got a right taste for knocking geriatric old fellas out now hasn’t he. Who’s he scrapping with next? John Cleese?

That's 3 hours of my life I'm never going to get back. What a terrible card.
Conor knew what he was doing in the lead up. He knew he was a big favourite, and everybody knew he was the favourite, so shit talking a legend everyone expected him to beat wasn't going to win him any friends at a time where his popularity is at its lowest. Made for a boring as fuck spectacle, though. I must admit, I expected a bit more resistance from Cowboy... Thought he might make a fight of it.
Must be Jorge up next for Conor.

Aye, I’m talking about the Cowboy who is finished and is too daft at this stage to do anything other than stand and trade. He was thrown in there to get beaten and beaten quickly. It was never going any other way than that. I don’t hate Conor by the way, I think he is talented, he’s clearly a very dangerous striker, and early doors during his rise to prominence I enjoyed his antics too. He’s charismatic. But after embarrassing himself in a boxing ring and embarrassing himself not only during the Khabib fight, but in the buildup and aftermath too, he’s got a long way to go before I’ll buy into anything he does again. But I don’t hate him at all, it was just a tongue in cheek remark about his fight meaning nothing.

There was no way Reyes lost that fight. Another bull shit decision.
Landed more strikes and a knockdown het still lost it.

Thought the fight was very close, no way he lost by the margin the third judge scored it as, but it’s sort of irrelevant in that both the other judges thought Jones won anyway. Would like to see a rematch.

I hate to say it, but Jones won the fight. The only round Reyes clearly won was the first. Jones probably edged the second, and Reyes probably edged the third, but they were close, could've gone either way. Jones definitely won the final two rounds IMO. Jones squeaked it. That's just the way of the world, the champ usually gets the rub in a paper thin decision, it happens almost every time. The judge that scored it 49-46 needs looking at, though. Reyes definitely did enough to get another go. There's hardly a line out the door of top LHW contenders, so it wouldn't surprise me if he got a rematch next fight.

Buzzing for this weekend. My heart so badly wants Romero to get his hands on that belt.
But my head says Izzy just gonna outpoint him from range for 5 rounds and get the UD.
