Dana White has lost his damn mind. Fights every week on a private island... I think he feels like if he's the only sport in town everyone will tune in to watch. Which actually may be true, you never know. But I think it's a bit reckless.

Which actually may be true, you never know. But I think it's a bit reckless. Shit feels like a Ray Bradbury dystopian novel - The world is becoming more divided along political and ideological lines. The propaganda most appealing to you is beamed directly into your pocket, decided by a small group of mega corporations. Donald fucking Trump is the leader of a cult of personality and somehow got elected to be the President of the fucking USA. And in the middle of a global pandemic, a caricature of a shady businessman is putting on prize fights on a private island Mortal Kombat style to make a profit because the world is starved of live entertainment. But with all that said, I'm going to watch the fuck out of it. I wish I had enough principles not to, but the card's a banger, and I'm starved of live entertainment... Gaethje is one of the few fights for Ferguson that gets me excited after the crushing disappointment of the Khabib fight falling through yet again. Rose vs. Andrade II is a must see after the way the last fight ended. Katter vs. Stephens is a potential cracker. Jacare vs. Hall would have been a better fight 3 years ago, but still has potential. And then you've got two heavyweight slugfests featuring arguably the 4 hardest hitting guys in the division, fucking anything could happen. I'm genuinely pumped for it. I'm a bit disappointed in myself for being this pumped. I just hope nothing goes wrong and nobody gets sick.

I'm not sure how much, but I'm sure the price will go up when they inevitably start promoting monkey knife fights in international waters.

Things aren't going ahead anymore. It took intervention from ESPN to get Dana to cancel.

I would like to start off by saying I think the UFC is extremely irresponsible by having this event, even after someone tested positive for covid19.
But I would be a motherfucking liar if I tell you I didn't enjoy the fuck out of that. Oh My GOD. What a fucking card. What fights !! Kattar knocking out Stephens was fucking beautiful! Ngannou yet again going apeshit on another fighter was glorious but that last fight.
That last fucking fight.
Holy mother of God was that actually Justin Gaethje in there? He has morphed into something else man. He Tony'd Tony. Ferguson could not walk, he could barely fucking stand. But he took enough hits to KO 5 guys, yet he didn't hit the mat. Gives new meaning to Iron Chin. Breathless.

Basically just asying about how Tony wouldnt have a chance against him or something.
I've not watched the fights, Had the results spoiled on social media but I wasn't planning on watching anyway as I thought Dana's desperation over recent weeks to get an event on was poor.

Tony vs. Khabib is officially dead now . Even if it does happen, the shine has been taken off. Fair play to Gaethje, though. Sensational performance. Ngannou is fucking terrifying. His technique is still horrible, but it just doesn't matter. His last 4 fights have lasted around two and a half minutes total... All were against top level guys. Cruz is a twat. Gets beat then accuses the ref of being drunk. de Castro was fucking frustrating. He won the first round and looked good. Then he just stopped. I don't know if he hurt his foot like DC suggested, but something happened. Either he got hurt, or his gas tank is so shit that he couldn't do anything for 2 rounds.

Not sure why they’re trying to make you feel sorry for Ngannou because he can’t walk straight into a title fight. Miocic has an actual important job outside of punching people. Same thing with DC calling him out. Fuck off you selfish cunts, the bloke’s a first responder and your sport shouldn’t even be going ahead. Furthermore, he’s fought Ngannou before and made him look an idiot. If DC is so keen on fighting during this pandemic, maybe he wants to scrap with Big Francis. I have more sympathy for Ferguson who chained together 12 wins without getting a real shot.
I enjoyed the show for what it was, but I felt guilty the whole time because it just shouldn’t be happening.

He's still pissed off that his poster boy DC got his ass handed to him in the rematch. Dana is a fucking schoolchild when he harbors grudges. Just like he has against Woodley, Mighty mouse and even Tony to an extent. The GOAT heavyweight being treated this way is a fucking travesty.

I still have hopes for Tony Vs Khabib, Tony should fight Conor (which should be a cracker) and if he wins, he should face the winner of Khabib vs Gaethje, which I feel Khabib will win. Would like to see Tony win a championship before he retires.
