Kicked off at 11, live on mutv. 1-1 at the moment, Larnell Cole with the United goal, supposedly a peach of a free. Cofie and Tunnicliffe have impressed for our lot.

Didn't Cofie play in the reserves against Villa a few days ago?

Yep he came on with 20 or so minutes left. Anyway the game finished up 1-1, that means we're still unbeaten 5 games into the new season.

Thanks for the highlights.
The goal was great, Cofie as always looks like one of our most exciting prospects, Joe Coll looks like a pretty decent keeper, and Lingard and Cole looked pretty good.

No prob mate. Yep it was a stunning strike, pity we don't have someone to do that in the first team, there seems to be plenty in the youth ranks that can hit a free kick sweetly, Eikrem and Norwood would be 2 of them. I was very impressed with Lingard, he's very assured on the ball and has decent end product. You won't see it on the short highlight but Tom Thorpe our centre half (and captain) is a top drawer defender that I have high hopes for. I'll post a link to the extended highlights as soon as I can find it and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Massacci also looked pretty good, but it was more that he made a few good blocks than that I actually noticed him playing well.

You can never really notice defenders in short highlights anyway, unless they were exceptional. That was Massacci's first game back after a serious injury that kept him out for 8 months.
