Amazing trades made last week. Miami pulling off Draft Day movie shit was amazing but for me more interesting was Shanahan officially being done with Jimmy. Fields or Lance for him I guess. Fields is the second best QB in the draft imo. Zach Wilson for me. He’s an incredible QB. I like Fields but the rumour today is the Niners moved up for Mac Jones, which is baffling. Alabama QBs are always a risk as they have the best talent around them. I think most assumed the trade up was for Fileds or Trey Lance (who is a bit of a risk imo). Giving up that much for Jones seems like overkill. Mac Jones??! That's just strange. I agree with you Wilson is fantastic too but Fields' performance against Clemson cemented his ability for me - ability combined with toughness. To be honest, from a statistical point of view Wilson shades Fields but that Clemson game just showed me unreal ceiling for Fields which could be honed to amazing possibility under someone like Shanahan.

Mate, if this is true he deserves nothing less than prison. If the NFL has the stones to actually go hard on one of its stars I'd be completely surprised. 3 more suits filed against him just now. Getting ridiculous now.

In a twist, 18 women have come forward, naming themselves, defending Deshaun. Interesting to note the accusers have gone nameless. I really think if its ok to name the accused, the victims should also be named. There are challenges to this, but I think either all names should be divulged, or none at all.

I really think if its ok to name the accused, the victims should also be named. There are challenges to this, but I think either all names should be divulged, or none at all. CBS- ‘The latest statement, which contains on-the-record accounts from 18 massage therapists who claim that Watson engaged in no misconduct with them and, for some of the 18 massage therapists, attacked the credibility of those who allege otherwise, has prompted many to do the math and to ask the simple question of whether it makes sense for Watson to have had at least 40 different massage therapists in such a relatively small window of time. Former NFL offensive lineman Jermon Bushrod fueled that skepticism with a now-deleted tweet in response to our item regarding the latest Hardin statement. “I played 12 years,” Bushrod tweeted, “I think I had half of that throughout my whole career.” Bushrod, in response to the tweet, was asked by another user whether football players usually stick with one massage therapist for an extended period of time. “Yes,” Bushrod said in the reply, which also has been deleted. “No way I could have multiple therapists per game week.” This doesn’t mean Watson did something wrong with the 21 plaintiffs who have sued him or the woman who told her story (but hasn’t sued Watson) to SI.com. But it does cause many to ask why Watson or anyone would need to have 40 different massage therapists. Which opens the door to prompting more questions as to why he has so many massages with so many different people. Also, the claims from 18 massage therapists that Watson acted appropriately doesn’t necessarily mean the other 21 are incorrect are lying. It’s possible that all 40 people are telling the truth.’

It's mad, Niners will take Mac Jones according to many. He's more "league-ready" or whatever that is.

Jets gave up on Darnold way too early imo. He was surrounded by shite and looks like a fall guy. The next QB they bring in will have a hard time there.

I'm a proponent of innocent till proven guilty, but with the amount of smoke blowing, it seems to be a fucking dumpster fire. I hope justice is done.

So tonight his lawyer is now saying that Watson did end up having sex with some of the women but it was consensual. Rather a different story to the one he previously ran with.
He’s toast.

Julian Edelman cut by Patriots due to his knee issues. He retired. Is it? I read a news article that said he was cut. Good for him. Had a great career.
