Anybody watch it last night?
The Packers held on for a win in what was a very entertaining match.
The worst performance of the night came from the Black Eye'd Peas, there half time entertainment was visually amazing but vocally it was horrific.
Jennings and Rodgers played awesome last night to secure a win for the Packers.

I stayed up all night to watch it and I'm glad I did, the game was good and I thought Steelers are gonna nick it yet again in the last seconds like they did two years ago, but fortunately Packers won in the end...
The whole ceremony before and at halftime drove me nuts, I almost fell asleep waiting for the game, they really over-do it every year and despite all the preparations they fuck it up somehow - Aguilera messed up with the anthem and BEP were awful, I just pressed mute....next year they should invite some real artist like Springsteen....
This was an exciting season and I do hope owners & players reach an agreement for next year...

Yeah the advertising surrounding the game is ridiculous, the champions league final gets more viewings than the super bowl and doesn't advertise as half as much as they do in the states. But it's there tradition and I don't think there going to change it now.
Was a very entertaining game, as you mentioned I didn't think the Packers were going to hold out especially with the experience the Steelers have of nicking a late touchdown in big games.
Nice to see the under dogs winning it.

No idea who's who, and what's what in American football, but I like the SuperBowl for it's adverts. The funny ones especially. Hope they will be posting them on youtube!

The snickers one with Richard Lewis was brilliant.

Wasn't there one with Simons Cowel face being reconstructed? It was for the American X Factor.
Eminem was also in one.

I know the worst teams from the previous draw get first pick in the NFL draft but does the player go where he's told or does he have to agree to join that team. Sounds kinda odd this whole thing.

If you have sometime on your hands, read this en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nfl_draftIt doesnt quite answer it really, but it might help EDIT: it has to be THE most confusing situation i have ever come across in any sport. Its a good idea i guess, but like everything its all about the money

It's actually quite a fair system to prevent terrible teams from staying like that (although some like Detroit and until recently our friends the Bucs seem incapable of ever improving no matter how many high picks they get). It might seem like a little harsh opn the players concerned but the free agency is pretty vigourous and players have more say them.

Essentially, he goes where he's told, but still has to actually sign a contract. A player could simply avoid the regular draft and wait for the supplemental draft if he really doesn't want to sign for the teams who draft him.

It almost hardly ever happens though. The first palyers that are drafted are paid insane wages, which tends to alleviate the pain! And most teams can turn it around quickly if they have decent management. My beloved Broncos for example. Picked number 2 last night. Highest ever but we'll get back on track and soon. Orange crush baby!!! (Well maybe)

Ahem after many a year of mediocrity Schwartz and Mayhew will get Detroit to the playoffs this year. Mark my words.
