Trish Stratus sucked in the ring, she was just hot. She was great in the ring. She was never as good a wrestler as Lita or Molly Holly, but she was a damn better worker than those two.

The Rock has single handedly rejuvenated the WWE, I consider myself a casual fan, check up on it now and again, but since The Rock has returned, I have made sure i havnt missed an episode of Raw, long may it continue because i am enjoying it again, Stone Cold, Triple H, Taker, JBL! Brillaint, im also enjoying Michael Cole's Heel persona, he is the type of wee fucker you would dislike and he is playing the role brillaint! Can't wait to get Wrestlemania, and the reason why im getting it? The Rock! w/o The Rocks involvement i wouldnt be watching it, i am now

Totally agree, I'm also dancing entirely to Vince's fiddle like I was until 8 or 9 years ago. Stopped watching every week sometime after 'Mania XX. Even when Rocky isn't there, I'm watching because of his angle. Glad in a way that WWE are staggering The Rock's live appearences until 'Mania, but I'm hoping he's back every week afterwards. I only hope they don't end up sticking him in the main event lead in match for ratings all the time. Fantastic to see Austin back aswell. Thought Cena's promo was weak, even for him, but the Miz really brought his A-game. I actually really enjoyed his mic-chat for a change.

yeah mate, i was the same only i think i stopped watchin weekly after WM 21, Last mania i got was WM22. Be curious to see what happens with The Rock after mania because he made the promise that he was not leaving again! But i dont see how he could have a successful film career and become a member of the Raw roster again! I think his appeareance wont be weekly but be much like Takers, disappear for a load of months then reappear for the big events i.e. mania, survivor series, summerslam etc!

2 things, rock is NEVER coming back for the long term.
why would he ? the product is piss-poor, he's done it all already and he's got his health and his family and his movies. cameo apperances and maybe one last match somewhere along the line are all you can expect .
second thing, it's so easy to bash cena. yeah he was more entertaining as the rapper back in the day but he's carried the company for many years and he bust his arse doing it.
and he's a good wrestler.the crowd are hot for his matches whether they are booing him or cheering him.

Quite simply, he's just not. And he's carried nothing. Cena has been thrust upon fans along with the PG horseshit he represents. Triple H, HBK, Kane, 'Taker and a host of under appreciated undercarders have been carrying the WWE. I say carrying, it's more like limping along since Wrestlemania XIX. 'Mania XX was piss poor, and pretty much every event since has been sub-standard overall. Yeah, there have been a few really top notch matches, but who did they involve? Shawn Michaels, 'Taker, the old guard. The last half-decent match Cena had was that U.S. Title match with Big Show at Wrestlemania XX. Since then I haven't watched a single main event with him in it that I didn't already know he was going to win. Recent example, Elimination Chamber - perfect chance to give Orton a massive push and let Cena focus on getting sorted out by The Rock. But no, Cena wins. Big surprise. The only good thing from Cena being part of the 'double' storyline in the 'Mania lead in is that The Miz finally seems to be getting likeable-heel-aggressive instead of annoying-whiny-aggressive. One more thing, sure, Cena was better with the original rapper gimmick. But that's only in retrospect, because the comparison is the terrible, terrible crap we have to put up currently. I still cannot believe that McMahon has let that awful spinner Heavyweight Title belt stay in circulation this long.

The Miz is money. He's the next crossover star WWE has been crying out for since SCSA and The Rock hung up the boots.
CM Punk appears to be THE most overlooked performer on this board, he's carrying Randy Orton to my most anticipated match at 'Mania. Not that Randy needs carrying as he's mega-over with everyone, but Punk brings out the best of everyone.
Dolph Ziggler goes from being Smackdown's number 1 gut to Raw mid-card hell.
The US Title basically means you're an afterthought. Have Danielson beat Sheamus on Raw and then at 'Mania, bring in Tyler Black, let those two tear it up and move AmDrag to Smackdown where he can challenge for the WHC.

HBK and Taker had 2 phenomenal matches and a cracking feud. Can't argue about that. The problem is that there are so few genuine stars in the business. Cena is a genuine star. He's carried the company for years. Yeah he's running out of feuds and the WWE need to make new stars, simple as that. What is your definition of a good worker ? someone with a bunch of moves and high-spots?

Orton doesn't need a massive push, he's the number 2 babyface on Raw (arguably number 3 behind Lawler right now - there's the lack of star power) as for the Miz getting likeable-heel-aggressive - if you dig that then thats cool, but i think he fucking sucks. i don't buy him as a tough guy, and why should i ? he doesn't look or sound like a tough guy. and when he split with morisson and kept calling out cena, he got squashed and made to look piss weak. now he sticks on a suit and does the jericho serious-heel-in-a-suit gimmick and i don't like what i see

I figure Sheamus must've looked at Trips the wrong way to get this treatment, but a move to SD must be on the cards seeing as they moved Dolph Ziggler, who was Smackdown's leading light along with Del Rio, IMO.

yeah alarm bells started when some dickhead thought it would be ok for sheamus to run away from the nexus backstage screaming out for his arch-rival john cena. up til then he'd been built up as a killer. yeah maybe he's pissed someone off backstage, maybe not, sometimes vince is happy to throw away money to prove a point to someone
