Don't think it's Krasic, I certainly wouldn't be excited about that, he's not a top player and isn't a CM. I'm leaning towards Sahin now though, makes sense with him not really getting a look in at Madrid, young, shouldn't cost too much, maybe £10m - £15m and most important of all he's a central midfielder! I hate you for doing this tatty! Tatty - is it one of the following; Thiago, Kroos, Canales or Muller? One of these. So it's Canales then? Kroos and Muller will both be going to the Euro's, both regulars for Germany and Bayern. Thiago will also go to the Euroes, could of left last year when there was interest and his contract was running out, resigned and is getting plenty of playing time. So that leaves Canales, he'll be going to the Olympics (from what tatty said, it suggested that the player will be), I can remember the thread about him when he broke onto the scene with Racing Santander and we were supposedly interested in him back then and met with his father / representative. Not really got a look in at Madrid, young, creative midfielder, big potential and not someone who we'd be overly excited with compared to some of the other names mentioned. Only thing is is that I've just come across the info that Valencia have an option to buy for €12 million at the end of the season. Not sure how that'd work if we were in for him as well, plus he's just coming back from knee ligament injury so that may play a part in it all. |

Can't say I've seen much of Kroos or Canales, isn't Canales somewhat tied in with Valencia though?

Canales is a very good player actually. I'd be pleased. Kroos or Muller would be superb.

Muller. he could play as our attacking center mid, he could fill in for rooney in the hole. he's German.

Germans and Dutchmen are the way forward in a dynamic, free-flowing football. Leave the Spaniards to their pansy-ass tippy tappy. 4 passes-GOAL! works for me just fine.

Muller is a great player and would be a great signing, but a 22 year old German international leaving Bayern?
Unless he's made noises about wanting out, that I haven't heard of, then I just don't see him leaving them.

Would be chuffed with Thiago. Thank christ it's not Khedira, not fussed on him.
Also Tatty, is this close to a done deal or is it just speculation at this stage.

Lad I'm friends with works catering at Carrington. He's never let me down yet in terms of inside club gossip/rumours. As for the Thiago thing, no where near a done deal and we've not spoken to any agents or the player, we've merely asked Barca as to his possible availability this Summer and we received a positive response, especially if Barca get one of their main transfer targets. |

No disrespect to your mate, but would caterers have any knowledge of United transfer targets?
I mean, there's no way they could guarantee that these staff are even United fans, so why would that information be so open.
Maybe I'm wrong to be so sceptical. I certainly would like Thiago. Here's hoping he's right.
