What a player this lad! He's a genius at 18. Anyone seen him tonight away at Bayern?
What are the Germans feeding these kids? If he was English the press would bang on about him more than Wilshere.

I'd also add that Balotelli claims he's the best player in the world but he's not even the best Mario.

Cracking little player. But most of Dortmunds midfield are excellent. Is SAahin playing? Really rate him?

3-1 to Dortmund now, Goetze won a corner after taking a shot from the edge of the box and then took the corner that they scored from, for an 18 year old he does look like a real talent, it'll be interesting to see how long he stays there. They were saying earlier on in the game that the average age of the Dortmund team is 22, they play some lovely football by the looks of it too. Edit: Robben just got booked for diving in the box, made me smile

i think he might be untouchable. i might be being a bit romantic here, but i think the core of these players will stay at dortmund for a while. i think they got some great loyalty to jurgen klopp. the starting 11 was put together for 20million, and some are through the youth system, rejects from other clubs, and basically no names until he brought them here. i wouldnt be suprised if they stay together for another 2 or 3 years

Let's buy Gotze and Kagawa! Both great young players.

I like Goetze but Sahin is the jewel in the crown for me. In 2 or 3 years time he'll be at Barca or Madrid and we'll all wondering why we weren't interested. I saw most of the 2nd half of the game the other night and Sahin was superb. He isn't just a play-maker, he did a lot of defensive work too, and seemed ready to help the guy marking Ribery. Smashing player.

I watched Dortmund, Bayern game on Saturday. Cracking game. Have to agree with Stewart, the lad Sahin stood out for me and played Schweinsteiger off the park. I'm a big fan of the latter, so to see him out played like that, was surprising. He seems a box to box CM. As has been said, he gets forward, but doesn't shy away from the defensive side of things. We'll be linked with him, but I doubt will sign him.

The problem with getting any of Dortmund's players is likely to be made even more difficult by them winning the league and getting CL football.

The problem with getting any of Dortmund's players is likely to be made even more difficult by them winning the league and getting CL football. Agree! Like I have said before in the 'buying midfielder' thread, it's hard to get one of them because they will play CL next season and most of them as a regular, which they would not for sure if they are going to join a bigger team. Also the identification with the club and the coach Jurgen Klopp is very high. Götze recently signed an extension until 2014 and it's just his first season ... can't see him making the next step to a massive club yet. Kagawa is the same, came from Osaka to Dortmund for 350k (hilarious!), but it is also his first season in a premier division. @stewart You are absolutely right that Sahin is the jewel in the crown. He is their main man and I think if he would pick up an injury, the whole team performance would suffer. Kagawa has been out now since the Asian Cup and they can cope with that, but Sahin hasn't been injured all season .... and if he would, they would certainly lose that something. If one of them would leave, I only can only imagine that it would be Sahin, because he is in his 6th season. But when you look at the way he jumped at Klopp after his goal against Bayern, it's hard to believe that anyone is going to leave this summer. In the German media a lot of players are quoted that they are all "good friends" who "do a lot together in their spare time and sweared to each other" that they would stay together for a while. Klopp is great coach, they play great football, the team seems to be a unit, they are going to win silverware and will play CL next football ... And I don't know what the Germans are feeding this kids ... it's just amazing what a generation is going to come up, even behind the already existing one around Oezil and Mueller. Goetze, Hummels, Grosskreutz, Sven Bender (all Dortmund), Sidney Sam (Leverkusen), Lewis Holtby and Andre Schuerrle (both Mainz this season, but Holtby is just a loan from Schalke and Schuerrle is going to join Leverkusen next season) ... and those are just a few to watch. --- BUT I want Sahin ... I want him really bad because he would be perfect for our system and would solve a lot of problems in our midfield! Edit // www.footytube.com/video/bayern-munchen-borussia-dortmund-feb26-74599Here the highlights of the game Bayern Munich vs. Dortmund ... just worth watching! Cracking game!

Yeah, Germany, Spain and even BElgium have a lot of good youngsters coming through. No doubt the English media will ignore that when the next World Cup comes round and pin their hopes on Parker, Bent and Crouch

I'd also add that Balotelli claims he's the best player in the world but he's not even the best Mario. Exactly - he has a long way to go to beat super Mario 3

No doubt the English media will ignore that when the next World Cup comes round and pin their hopes on Parker, Bent and Crouch Belgium suddenly have a great young team out of nowhere: Mignolet Kompany Vermaelen Vertonghen Fellaini Defour Hazard Lukaku Dembele I'm sure I'm forgetting a couple too. Where did all these come from??? Belgium are usually crap!
