I watched it Tommy. This kid is brilliant. Nice goal he scored too. Dortmund as a whole were pretty damn good though. They play some great football. The youngest side to ever win the Bundesliga last year too. Looking forward to seein how they do in Europe this year.

They should do well. They don't even seem to miss Sahin based on that game.

I watched the Germany U-16s when they played Ireland in a little town close to me in Kerry , It pissed rain Irish monsoon type weather . The Game ended 1-1 but the major talking point was the German playmaker Mario Goetze me and my mate agreed that this kid was special and we'd be watching him in world cups and champions leagues for years to come. He was only 14/15 at the time and really stood out as a world beater . I can see him winning major personal honours in the next few years balloon d'ors and whatnot.

Anyone see Dortmund last night? I stand by my statement that this guy's better than any English kid, including Wilshere. Can't believe he's so young. I watched it. The lad's immense, I want us ti sign him so much it's ridiculous. I can just see him going to Real next summer, they seem to have a tab on German youth these days.

Yeah i enjoy watching dortmund, that 4231 system that is common with all german sides these days works great when you have plenty of attacking options and players like goetze. I think he's a good player but not in messi's class franz. The germans have lots of talented players marko marin is another player i really like and closer to messi than mario. Kroos and ozil are also in the playmaker mould so its a great generation of german players.

Scored his first International goal tonight against Brazil. 3-1 Germany, nearly over.
First of many I reckon.

A decent player & another destined to end up in Munich. Nonsense. Dortmund are becoming the dominant force again.

A decent player & another destined to end up in Munich. Nonsense. Dortmund are becoming the dominant force again. Bayern are still the big team in germany, dortmund have at last gotten rid of the debt that ruined them and they have built a quality side and they do have the best support in germany. You'd love to play in front of there fans.

If Goetze goes anywhere it will be abroad though. Just can't see him at Bayern at all.

Doubt it, but would be truly thrilled, as past noted.
