Wouldn't surprise me at all. Paid a total of around 17M for Reus and Gundogan. Worth around 60 between them in 24 months...

They are both German players from the German league and would be very hard to sign, it's like Dortmund signing Zaha for instance. Very rarely happens, the young talent generally gets hovered up by the top teams within the players country.

Neither were 'unheard of' either, Reus was very well known and would have gone for more if he didn't have a release clause. We were linked to Gundogan before he moved to Dortmund, but again, it's hard to get a young player to move abroad when one of the top teams from his home country come calling.

We should take a leaf out of Porto's book and scout more of the South American talent, they've made some top top notch buys over the last few years.
