crazy game. was so open. sometimes we were inviting them to score and yet we still manage to thrash them. our attacking play was just crazy. loved it.

UN-BE-LEAVABLE!
I feel really strange today, City are looking like title challangers and arsenal concede 8 goals in a premier league game. It's like the fucking twighlight zone today.
Well chuffed with Rooney hopefully now Nani won't get a sniff when it comes to freekicks because he's gash and doesn't deserve it. Nani was the only player today who I was dissapointed with, he was selfish. I think his team-mates feel the same at times too. He has to be the most unpopular player.

All the people who said Ashley Young wasn't good enough should look at themselves!

Should look at themselves lol ok. Well people get it wrong we're not all experts. He has impressed though, I said it was great business to get him at the price we did, but he's surpassed even my expectations!

Yeah, that is one weak team. You look at ours and think it lacks experience, but still feel confident. If I was an Arsenal fan, I'd be very worried today. 6-1? ;D Not far off. What the fuck have I just seen. I'm rather tired. Have I fell asleep and I'm in a dream? 8-2..... against Arsenal..... Ok, Le Arse had a few players out, but you can only beat whats in front of you. Actually, I take that back as its not fair on our boys. We both had young teams out there and we just took them to bits. I was watching the game with my 2 mates who support Arsenal and by the 6th goal I felt sorry for them. It could have been much worse for them if Arshavin had walked the dirty shit. Every player played there part in that. Brilliant from the goalkeeper to the forwards. Quite amazed that we scored 8 yet Hernandez scored zero! 8-2 without Vidic, Rio, Carrick, Fletcher, Berba, Fabio. Rafeal, Valencia. I'm stunned. EDIT: Average age of Arsenals team today: 23.6 Average age of Uniteds team: 23

Arevans - your comment on arsenals "no ridiculous investment." - as a caller on MUTV just said it, their stadium was a ridiculous investment. They got their priorities wrong - build a consistent, trophy winning team first, then worry about the stadium. Chelsea got it right, and city dont have to worry about the stadium for quite a while. Arsenal had a semi-decent team at Highbury and thought that was it so put all the money in the stadium, now it is being shown as a stupid move that will cost them.
United? Amazing performance! Nit-picking about De Gea? ffs....will some of our own ever learn?? Spoilt much? Surprised ye didnt call for VDS to be sold for dropping a routine cross at home to West Brom last season.
Attacking as potent as ever, could quite easily have had 12. Young? Some would do well to go back and read the thread on him in the Transfer section and learn about judging players before they have even played a competitive game for us. Smalling and Hernandez would agree too.
Arshavin should have been off after 20, jenkinson should have walked sooner too. Great performance - no sympathy for arsewipe whatsoever.
Plus maybe the press might STFU about arsenals "pure football" - theres only one team in england that are playing that at the mo....and it sure as hell aint arsenal.
oh, and North West England 100x> Southern England....

Welbecks out for 5-6 weeks. Enough cover for him since Hernandez should be starting anyway. Shame for the lad though.

Welbecks out for 5-6 weeks. Enough cover for him since Hernandez should be starting anyway. Shame for the lad though. Shame indeed. Wonder if Berba will get a look in now? I like Berba but I don't think he fits our style now as well as Welbeck and Hernandez do. I mean we didn't play like this last year... Same goes for Carrick really. I like Carrick and think he's had some great games for United, but I'd be disappointed to see his name on a teamsheet nowadays unless we had injuries (to Anderson, Cleverley or both) or were resting players.

Berba deserves a look in, you cant shut out a player who scored over 20 goals last season, however it gives chicho a good run now to get his fitness and his edge back after being out as long as he has been. I may not have many to agree with me ere but carrick has been out of sorts for a long time now so as much as he has been a good player i think its gonna be hard for him to find a regular slot in the side now obv not including injuries or resting players. Hard luck for wellbeck though, hes had a good start to the season so feel for the lad.
