i know theres been a thread or two before, can't actually find the fuckers,
what are we all playing? i know there's a few xbox owners on here
i'm still playing black ops, waiting patiently for modern warfare 3, LA Noire should be down to about a score by now, i might give Fifa 12 a go although i'm getting bored of football games and arkham asylum will be siick...Gears of War 3 might get got and all

Fuck modern warfare 2.1, Battlefield 3 is where its at. If the x-box crowd didn't lap up the CoD games so much they may have start making decent titles. yes i'm a pc gamer elitist  but seriously this vs CoD |

i used to play Battlefield 2 on the PC. not keen on playing it on the xbox. if i build a decent rig next year i will get back on BF, cos this lap top def can't handle it

The amount of games I play now has massively gone down. I might be old. Although FM 2011 / FIFA 2011 constantly on the go.

i havent played FM for a couple of years, might well give the new one a go.
i'm bored of playing with top clubs and sweeping the board though and iv never got to grips with getting a lower league side up the divisions. i'm into playing with an under-performing club (arsenal this year maybe) and putting my mark on the team

Battlefield, Gears 3 & Arkham City all pre-ordered for Xbox. FM2012 on the pc will be got too seen as FM2010 was the last one i got.

I have a 360 but I'm a PC gamer at heart. I hate FPS games on consoles, you just can't be accurate with those stupid little joysticks.
Sadly my PC is utter wank these days but it was good at one point. Big fan of stuff like Deus Ex, Half-Life (1 and 2), Max Payne, the Total War series (up until Empire; my PC can't run it), Doom, Quake, Counterstrike Source, Commander Keen, Duke Nukem 3D, Worms, Age of Empires and of course the FM games (played every one since CM 93/94).
On the console I'm a big fan of Fallout 3 (enjoyed but wasn't hugely impressed by New Vegas), Red Dead Redemption, Oblivion, Fable, Assassins Creed and Gears of War.

Still putting serious hours into Fallout 3 after all this time. Wasn't too impressed with New Vegas either Rorschach - got bored of that pretty quickly.
Eagerly awaiting Skyrim, Assassin's Creed Revelations, Pro Evo and the new Football Manager. Probably give Deus Ex and Arkham City a go at some point. Might even give FIFA a go this year for the first time since '97.

It is all about Dead Island for me. Which I've just pre-ordered. And Gears 3. I used to be a massive PC gamer, Counterstrike Source was my big one. But the technology world moves at a lightening pace and costs a pretty penny to keep upgrading or re-building. This one was built for gaming and video editing, yet the most I run on it is iTunes (unfortunately, piece of crap software). I go through phases of installing and uninstalling CSS. So now I pretty much just stick with the XBOX. I tried going through Alan Wake for a second time yesterday and despite a decent story line and graphics, I just couldn't interest myself enough to look for the collectable's I'd missed. Rorschach, if you like Fallout, look to getting Rage which is out soon.

playing LA Noire at the minute, i wanna go through with minimal mistakes but i don't wanna keep looking at the walkthrough either

You HAVE to get GOW3. Is L.A Noire any good? Each time I saw my house mate play it, all I ever saw were cut scenes. I'm currently being raped on Dead Island. It is harder than I thought.
Edit. I have never been to a midnight launch, has anybody else?

Yeah, been to a few alright. If the game is big enough/eagerly awaited they do it - my mate runs the gamestop here in town so its handy out. he has a PS3 tho....am considering disowning him |

it's OK i'v usually got a hard on for all the rockstar releases so i wanted this one but it's not as fun as red dead or GTA. i'm only a third of the way through so might change my mind yet. i'd say borrow don't buy it. |
