United's Academy youngsters have returned from a successful trip to Slovakia after two wins out of two on tour.
Tatran Presov were defeated 1-0 on Monday courtesy of Gyliano van Velzen's effort while Jack Barmby notched a hat-trick in Wednesday's 4-3 beating of Konoplyov with Adnan Januzaj also on the scoresheet.
Paul McGuinness' youth crop will have picked up plenty of experience to stand them in good stead for the remainder of the season, which continues on 5 November with a trip to Bolton.
