just a bit of fun. so what have people given up to watch united or due to united. theres got to be some good ones out there.
when i was doing my teaching prac, i swapped classes with another teacher as i had to go to the 'hospital', but really it was for united.
missed my cousins wedding as it fell on the same day as we played liverpool.
when we lost the champions league final against barca in 09, i went into work and told them theres no way im coming into work today as im grieving.
missed a uni exam as it was in the morning but we had a champions league tie, so had to fake being sick and do the exam later.
mmm thats all i can think about at the moment.

when we lost the champions league final against barca in 09, i went into work and told them theres no way im coming into work today as im grieving. That is brilliant. I've sat in the opposite end and cheered on the boys. So could have been my life? Ha. I don't really recall giving anything up.

I was dumped by my last serious girlfriend after I 'forgot' to go to her parents anniversary party. This was on the same day we beat Liverpool 1-0 when O'Shea scored at the Kop End in the last minute. I got very drunk celebrating and woke up to 15 missed calls and texts asking where I was. HA!

I've given up every having a girlfriend or having sex. I've dedicated my life to United and that's why I abstain from those things. I get lots of offers but then I just say sorry love, I'm married to United.

I lost my girlfriend. She's a City fan and didn't take too kindly to me ignoring her for a fortnight after they beat us 3-1 in that match when Goater and Anelka scored for them.

I've travelled from Porto Alegre to Manchester, on winter (I hate winter) to watch Moyes lose to Newcastle one-nil. So tons of money as it was costly Family events, friends reunions, classes.... Luckily, I got my girl excited about United, so we watch the matches on the phone together.
