No other top 6 GK has more than 3, but DDG has 14. Madness.
Cech (6) and Lloris (5) are also the top two 'keepers for mistakes leading to goals.

The only reason he's able to achieve that stat (which is based on the goals conceded vs. the goals the average 'keeper would be expected to concede in those situations - he's conceded 14 less than would normally be expected) is because he's faced more chances that should have been goals in the first place...

Good lad. Give him the captains armband too. Never been a fan of 'keepers having the armband, but very willing to make an exception here.

Any updates on his new contract? Hopefully it gets done before the WC starts but that looks unlikely now.
If the hold up is refusing to pay him as much as Alexis then that's fucking mental. He's 10x as important to us.

He's 10x as important to us. What a bizarre leap. As much as I detest the gimps and co, why is it always assumed it is the clubs fault? United have shown they aren't stingy with their contract offers. In fact the blame should be they are too generous. De Gea having already been offered about 340-350,000 a week would suggest the issue isn't on the clubs side.

Not making the leap myself, just based off of what has been said.

Why the stall on his part is odd. Unless he is hoping to have a good WC and ask for more/be offered more. Which would be a surprise given the amount already offered. The club are confident of keeping him and De Gea hasn't intimated he wants to leave.
