I suppose time will tell, if Madrid come knocking with a ridiculous bid, do you think United will reject them? I'll rephrase that question, do you think the Glazers will reject it? History tells us differently. Although, a "ridiculous bid" for a goalkeeper will hardly be hard to turn down. We're swimming in cash at the moment, especially if we manage to get into Europe again next season, so I don't think the financial aspect comes into it. Athletico lad, let's hope he's biding his time before signing on for us, I sure do hope he does though it's obviously difficult for players to turn that down. He's loved here, I think he knows that - add to that the fact Di Maria was just practically booted out for the new toy and perhaps the allure will fade. |

Think us qualifying for the CL and De Gea signing the contract go hand in glove. He is biding his time to see where we end up and what we will be doing perhaps.
Can't see him leaving us ATM but one can never be sure with these contracts. We did offer Nani a new one didn't we last summer.

A bit pathetic from our own fans all this De Gea to Madrid stuff. He's an atletico fan. It's like City and United. They have Navas who will likely replace Casillas. We have his Spanish friends. I can't understand why he would go there.

I can't understand why he would go there. Because 1) he likes David Moyes & will follow him to Spain 2) Real Sociedad and Real Madrid have 'Real' in common. Cant see any other reason.  |

Given that Ed has been talking about bringing the best players to Manchester and PL and not to SPanish la Liga, i doubt if we'd be foolish to let go of one of the , if not the Best goal keeper to Madrid. Plus Ed strikes me as the guy who needs to have his own Galacticos or dick swagging sessions more often than those at Madrid.
So unless the player wishes to/ we screw this up big time i really don't see him ending up at Real
