Never called them giggs in my days when I was a young lad. I have only ever seen two live groups perform back in 1960/70's in Australia and that was The Who & Small Faces. Seen Pete Townshend smash his guitar up at the end of the show, brilliant. That was his trademark in them days. Must have cost him a bomb in buying new guitars lol.  |

Pisses me right off when I see musicians doing that. I'm a leftie and the choice of guitars is minuscule compared to right handers. So when someone smashes one up for no reason I feel like smashing them up! Also they are an expensive bit of kit for the likes of me, but he probably gets em for nothing, so maybe I'm just jealous.

saw radiohead @ old trafford cricket ground a few years ago, that was pretty great (MGMT supported before they were really big)
saw REM try out new material at the olympia in dublin in 2007
muse @ the (old) point theatre in dublin was good too
