Surpised that I was unable to find a thread on this guy, so apologies if there is already one.
Well he's now free to talk to other clubs. If he doesnt sign a new contract with Roma it'll be interesting to see where he opts to go, I would be p****d if city got their grubby hands on him and we didnt even make an attempt to get him.
Can't actually imagine Fergie passing up the opportunity to sign a player like De Rossi for free, he is always going on about "no value in the market" ...getting a player like De Rossi for free would surely be value, not to mention the experience he would bring to surround our youngsters with.

Problem is he'd ask for huge wages. Wouldn't surprise me if we showed interest but I'd imagine we'd go for a younger player ala Javi Garcia. Been reading earlier that Gaitan and Garcia are nailed on for the summer.

Never particularly rated him. But I'd take anyone being signed for midfield if it means no Giggs and Park there.

never thought the debt would affect us this much, in many ways we are a victim of our own success, fergie gets the best out of the squad so uncle malc will always think well no need to really spend, this guy will keep working miracles.

de rossi would be an ideal perfect signing, bringing in some steel will free the likes of clevs, carrick even ando and pogba to have more of a free creative role.

I'm glad. We were never bringing him in. At least this way we won't be seeing him line up for City or Chelsea.
