I was being silly when I said £25M but in my eyes £20M is perfectly reasonable. City, PSG, even Liverpool and all the rest, have completely screwed the market by overpaying. But we are where we are. We spent £24M on RvP which many were saying is crazy money, especially with his contract run down, but no-one's really blinking at it now.

I'd think he'd walk straight into the first team, ahead of Carrick and Fletch, and would be our only big spend for the next 18 months. Fills in at centre half and left back too.

I know we've already got 9 central mids on the first team books so it'll never happen, but just for the FM craic, hows this?
