It's not like he was unknown. I didn't expect him to do this well in the prem but he's 26 and was playing in La Liga last season, scoring a fair few goals.

It's not like it would take particularly impressive scouting to find him.

It's looking more like a scouting fuck up by most of the top clubs in Europe than an astute scouting coup by Swansea. I mean, he was the highest scoring midfielder in La Liga last season, surely a fee of 2 million woulnd't have scared too many off?

The fact that he's doing so well might just be a bit of a reality check in terms of the league strength too, it wasn't too long ago there were 3 PL teams in the semi finals of the CL, yet we're now the only club, along with Arsenal to get out the group stage, a year on from falling out ourselves.

Well we bought Kagz. He's just been unfortunate with injuries. But don't forget about him before he's had a chance to make a name for himself with us.

What we need is a more defensive-oriented midfielder, though not necessarily a Makelele-type holding midfielder.
