Some highlights of his performances in an U-16 national tournament with Belgium. As youtube vids go its pretty impressive, certainly gives some credibility that he was one of the most sought after players in the world in his age group. Shame we cocked up the paperwork so he's not eligible for our Academy games yet.

Looking forward to watching the academy games next season with the likes of Daehli, Januzaj, Barmby and Wilson a year older and the addition of Pereira into the mix, they should play some delightful football.

Yeh I'll be honest I haven't paid much attention to the academy this year as it was a very young team, a new crop. Next year should be a good watch as this team matures and gains some physicality. I have high hopes for the squad as we done a 'good' job pillaging top talent around Europe recently. The midfield should be very strong.

Well they'll lose Blackett and Van Velzen next season, 2 of the bigger, more physical players we have at that level atm so it'll be interesting to see how much they've learned from this season which has been a real struggle for them in the league but has seen them reach the semi's of the Youth Cup, second leg coming up this friday I think, which they're still in with a shout at.
Hopefully there's some good young strikers ready to come through next season as I think that would make us a much more dangerous side, looking forward to it.

Another u-16 games, 2 goals and an assist. Seems quite a free kick specialist.
