As I said something has happened behind closed doors, Mata should be a starter every week. If I saw Mikel come on before I did and I was Mata I'd be fuming.

As I said something has happened behind closed doors, Mata should be a starter every week. If I saw Mikel come on before I did and I was Mata I'd be fuming. This is the second time it has happened in 4 games. Unless I'm really bad at watching football, I wouldn't say Mikel and Schurrle are good in comparison to Chelski's average ability. If they were in our team, I'm pretty sure they would be really low in the pecking order. Whatever Mourinho likes I guess. I want to think that, and if Mourinho truly dislikes Mata, then we should try to sign him. But I think Mata is on the bench as the same reason Kagawa is on our bench though. But I still can't understand why not just let Mata come on as a sub. Even if not Mata, bring Essien on or someone else. But bringing on Mikel and starting Schurrle? That has me fumbled. |
