This could get very bad. 3-0. Mario Gomez again; Beglin questioned his starting as 'too sentimental' from Heynckes.

Hmm. 3-1, well played Stuttagrt. Cracking header from a big ol' loopy cross back across Neuer. Martin Harnik to make things interesting.

3-2!! Harnik again. A strike from outside the box from a Stuttgart corner came off the post and fell to him, Neuer saved but it went straight back to Harnik to smash in!!
Stuttgart really making a great fist of this now.

Full time. Stuttgart gave it a brilliant go, but Bayern had gotten themselves too far ahead. Phenomenal season from Bayern Munich. Heynckes leaving with a Treble. Unreal.

Fair play to them, not an easy feat to do as we know. Good comeback but too much to do.

The Germans don't have a 'League Cup' so they've won literally everything available. Makes Guardiola taking over that much more insufferable. Poor wee stressed out petal. Some stress trying to follow The Treble!

Treble in Europe: Celtic (1966-67), Ajax (1971-72), PSV (1987-88), United (1998-99), Barça (2008-09), Inter (2009-10) Bayern (2012-13). The way they go on about their 5 trophies in Europe, where are the dippers on that list

The way they go on about their 5 trophies in Europe, where are the dippers on that list I was just thinking that there seems to be a whole lot more trebles in recent years. Perhaps it's just that in the past, a special side would come along once a decade but now with the concentration of money and prestige at the top 2/3 clubs in each country the same level of competitiveness just isn't there anymore.

That fact that the European Cup really used to be a "Champion's League". The best teams from the best Leagues of the time would be more likely to come up against the other best teams earlier in competitions.
I'd love to know how many domestic doubles were been done in the years teams missed out on The Treble by not winning the European Cup. I know we stopped Liverpool doing it in the F. A. one season though. Thank God!

Any chance Carlo Ancelotti has a longstanding feud going on with Cristiano that might drive him out of the club?
