I won't complain, I'd just feel pretty bad for Welbz and Hernandez, whilst it'd mean the end of Macheda most likely. We just have other, more pressing areas that need fixing, if there's 20 million available to throw at RVP.
We were in for Hazard at just over 30 million so, even though unlikely, there's a part of me that thinks we're well up for Moura.

Sure, but in days where clubs are paying masses of money for players and we hardly ever get involved it'd be nice to just go out and grab a world class talent, even if we do need to pay 35 million. It'd shut the ABU's up for a while and get that much needed spark and unpredictability back into our play which is often lacking.
It's the Glazers' cash anyway so I really don't mind about the ''value'' tag being thrown around, it creates a very pikey-esque image for people who already think we're skint. Tired of such shit being tossed at us.

Can't see how RVP to Old Trafford would be a bad move. Equally, I can't see it happening.
Four quality strikers at the ready is what we need. As much as I like Chica and Welbeck, Van Persie's goal potential would give us a better chance of bringing the league back home.

I can not see any down side to us signing any player of proven quality,it's a squad game now & any strengthening has to be welcomed.
Obviously most of what is written in red tops etc is generally bollocks but the this one does seem to be gathering pace,& also with Arsenal saying they want a resolution before the weekend would seem to suggest that somone has made an enquiry??

Perhaps we are one of the clubs interested & have lodged an offer,perhaps his agent has suggested to Fergie that we would be his chosen destination if we can do the deal with Arsenal?  ? Highly plausible & he has stated publicly that he wants to move & not for £££ which could suggest that just taking the ADUG £ is not his only priority. I don't believe that every world class player will always choose the ADUG £ or Abramovic £ over playing for a club like United. In the last couple of years we have all seem to have just accepted that we can't compete with them or Chelsea in transfer market,they may both have more financial power than us but playing for United & Ferguson @ OT every other week is & always will be tough offer to not accept for any player given the opportunity. |

The one thing that I reckon would work in our favour is the fact he is more bothered about winning things than money?
After all this time in the Premier League do you not think he'd at least like to lift the trophy at one point in his career?? That coupled with the disinterest in money I believe we do have a chance of securing him.
Would mean we'd be spending well over £60m in one summer again though, something that is pretty doubtful in itself!
