Sorry bud, pipped to it before you did in the Nani thread Hehe. It's official - happy days Carbon From United's Website; Nani signs new dealManchester United is delighted to announce that Nani has signed a new five year contract to June 2018. The Portuguese winger signed for United in May 2007 and has won four Barclays Premier League titles, two League Cups, a FIFA Club World Cup and the UEFA Champions League in his six seasons at Old Trafford. David Moyes said: "I'm really pleased Nani has re-signed for the next five years. He has great ability and experience beyond his 26 years. I've been impressed with his approach to training and look forward to working with him in the coming seasons." Nani said: "Playing at United has been a fantastic experience for me. When I came to the Club, I never imagined the success we have enjoyed. Training every day with top players who want to win trophies every year is a great motivation to me. I'm very happy that the new manager has shown this faith in me and I'm looking forward to helping the team compete for more honours this season."

i'm alright with this, they looked so blunt against the dippers I was willing jeff on the pitch for once. at least he stung mignolet's fingers. there's probably frustration galore ahead but you never know. heard noises about moyes wanting to move nani on or include him in a swap deal when he first took over. reckon nani's the type of player who looks mint in training and if his attitude is right i can't blame moyes for wanting to give him a chance.

Moved this into the General United section seeing as we're stuck with him for another 5 years he has signed a new deal for another 5 years.
Here's hoping for more than two 7/10 performances in a row!

All I hope is that the skills he's impressed others with in training are his dead-ball deliveries.

Delighted he signed. It would have been a shame to lose him for the fees that were reported. The team is short enough on creativity to lose our highest assister over last 3 years(despite his poor last season). Hopefully with the new managers total faith in him will give him the confidence to focus on his game and realise his potential. He needs to improve on his decision making and practice his corners, his game needs to mature, hes not a kid anymore, its time to step up and start menacing games like he is capable of doing. If the penny drops, Nani has the ability to be our best player.

Fantastic news, at one point I was resigned to him leaving. Hopefully its a fresh start for him, it was pretty evident that something wasn't right between him and Fergie last term. I stand by what I said last year, when he plays consistently, he performs consistently. There were a number of players last year not playing well that started near week in week out regardless. Not subbed after 60mins then out the squad for a couple of weeks, such double standards isn't going to get a player in the right frame of mind.
Anyway, onwards. Get him him and Kagawa on the pitch together and watch the magic happen. Our football would be so much better. Far better than watching Tony V dither and pass to the RB. I havent seen all our football this term, but I'm still concerned about him. Without his very top pace I think people will clue up to how average he is this year, we'll have to see if it comes back.
Oh and even as his biggest fan, keep him off set pieces, he sucks at them and that ain't changing.

Looked a bit sharper at start but has returned to last seasons dithering for the last two games. Nani will be a welcome relief, more so with Rafa out, as Jones` crossing is really poor, there has been zero service for RVP.
