the best bit of kit i've used for downloading youtube vids into whatever format is save2pc pro if you can get your hands on it. my laptop is fooked at the minute and won't support it for some reason.

How do you download videos from youtube? I watch them, but I can't keep them. I have a mac. I suppose I should really ask on a you tube forum. when you download the dvdvideosoft software itll give you a selection of various things to do, theres a youtube button click on that and youll see an opiton to download vids onto your pc. Theres another option that lets you rip the mp3 from the videos aswell for any music you might want. Not 100% if it works the same on a mac but id assume so. |

There might be a pc version as well for those of you who enjoy cursing at your technology. |

If you need to convert anything for use on an iPhone/iPad use Handbrake. It'll convert downloaded files, rip DVDs into iTunes...pretty much anything.

They do have regular updates for it, but it never usually gives an error - it just tells you there are updates available and gives you the choice to update or not.
