Funny how it's not 'Roma midfielder' anymore but instead it's 'Man UTD target' Kevin strootman. Real Madrid tactic that.

Off topic. Looking forward to watching the Roma V City match tonight . Roma back to full strength and one Kevin Strootman is playing. He has only had one full game last week, so not expecting huge from him, but will be interesting to wtach wher he sets up and how he does against an English team.
Apparently there has been a hate campaign from Roma fans, mostly because of the speculation linking him with us. He's been getting a lot of shit from them.

What is the most reliable source for transfer news? England media sucks at it and just want to sell papers.

Pallotta: Strootman not leaving Roma for Manchester United
"Strootman will not go to Manchester United," the American told Roma Radio. "We would be first in the league were it not for the injuries to Castan and Strootman.
"I think we're a team of Scudetto and Champions League quality. Jose Holebas and Kostas Manoloas are integrating well and we are firmly convinced that we will fight for the Champions League [next season]."

Manchester United's Kevin Strootman plans DASHED by injury news LOUIS VAN GAAL'S plan to sign Kevin Strootman looks set to hit the buffers following news of the Dutch midfielder's injury. Published: 11:56, Mon, January 26, 2015 By CHARLES PERRIN The Roma star only recently returned to action after a long injury lay-off forced him to miss the World Cup. United have been on Strootman's tail for a while and have been tipped to make a move. But it seems they may have to abandon their pursuit, after Strootman sustained a knee injury and was substituted after 34 minutes of his side's 1-1 draw with Fiorentina yesterday. Reports suggest that Strootman is due to undergo tests today albeit Roma are cautiously optimistic he won't be sidelined for a long time........
