Those guys are beyond tough. Saw a programme about the Falklands. Really nasty battle, trench warfare almost, going on for days. British Commander sent a few Gurkhas to the first Argie trench. A couple of minutes later a load of Argie heads were thrown into the 2nd trench, they legged it, then the 3rd one did the same. Battle was over in 10 minutes....

My Grandad served with Gurkhas in Burma (he was a radio operator in the RAF) during the Second World War and he always said they were some of the toughest, most professional and deadly men he has ever seen. I'm really not surprised by this story, the Gurkha regiments have a history packed to the brim with awe-inspiring heroism.

Definitely beyond belief how tough these guys really are. Have to admire every one of them, even more so this guy. Inspiration, perhaps people that complain about the simple of things should read this then see if they feel hard done by or feel they have it hard.

There the right side of nuts to be professional soldiers. In situations like that they'd just rather go down fighting than surrender. There clearly respected by all of the regiments of the armed forces but its a different issue when they want to live here for some reason. They have nothing on paddy mayne though ;D
