Superb. I actually met RedNev myself Must have been about 1992/93? Went to the Cliff for my birthday to watch the lads train. Got let past the barriers when the security guard heard I was the birthday boy so was allowed into the main building to meet'n'greet the players as they walked in. Gary was stood in the corridor with a broom in his hand - sweeping the floor! Poor little youth player!

Also - yet another good time for me to second Jay's idea to get a RoM members photo thread going. Any matchday pics, player snaps, posing with a United shirt at the top of Everest...whatever.

Met him in Galway, he was over on a stag. Heard rumors he was there so I googled it and seen that they were through, he was there in the first pub I walked into. He was very welcoming and had lots of time for us, met him the next morning he looked to be dying with a hangover so I didn't bother him too much |

Would be interested in a thread on player/fan interactions . I collect autographs and am always curious what players are fan friendly or are jerks, Just came back from vegas met penn and teller after their show {nice guys} pics and autos.Also met pete rose signing at a sports store {ok but all about signing for money} 50 bucks to sign a baseball! Mls allstar game tomorrow, heading into city to try to get some autos tomorrow.

Sometimes with just one meeting its a fluke. When I was younger my room was a shrine to mike schmidt and the phillies but after 3 meetings and the same attitude I wouldnt say hello on the street.Willie mays was always a misreble guy also,brooks robinson was pure class and clint dempsey always treats me good [but we have a mutual friend].One of several reasons Id love to see united grab him,but too many on here dont seem to like him.I do feel though if he came here he would be a fan favorite because he plays with 'heart'.

Met Hogan he was nice,and ric flair wooooo .My favorite wrestlers before later in the wwf fucked them up were the road warriors .Most of the new guys to me dont have as much personality.Abdullah the butcher used to strike fear in people.I believe he owns a rib shack down south today.Met mick foley he is a part time comedian and actualy well spoken.
