I don't know how many people here are into politics, particularly American politics. But, did anybody watch it?
If you didn't, watch it.
I don't care much for politics either, but Bill Clinton has to be one of THE TOP ORATORS alive in the world today. Absolutely fantastic. During that speech the teleprompter broke for a bit and yet he absolutely winged it like nobody's business.
Top speech and top endorsement.

Clinton is a class act! Top speech and hopefully it will help Obama get reelected - the prospect of Romney and republicans "leading" the western world is daunting!

If Romney-Ryan get into office, it will be the biggest travesty ever imposed on the planet. I say planet and not America, because undoubtedly those two douchebags will try and do their best to screw every corner of this planet over with their war-mongering bullcrap.

Good speech. Clinton and Obama are one of the best orators alive today. The speech writers should be given a kudos.
What irks me about the Great American politics is the amount of dosh each party spews in the media, that may not relate to their actual cause / policies that they're championing for as a politician. That's why I prefer the UK politics. It's one of the more straight forward ones / cleanest around, whether we like it or not. Unfortunately, we are lacking talented politicians at the moment.
PS. Did anyone catch Clint Eastwood's little speech? I was a bit disappointed Clint Eastwood coming out to dangle in politics. And it was pretty bad (still had loads of cheers though).

I thought Eastwood's speech was pretty funny actually.
Watched the Clinton speech yesterday. It's a great speaker who can talk for almost 50 minutes and leave you thinking it both wasn't enough, and never boring. Clinton was excellent.
He's like William Hague, right man in the race at the wrong time.

It was an excellent speech and one that I hope will help to get Obama re-elected in November. I think if Bill was running again this year, he would get a lot of votes. I've seen articles from a variety of sources that fact checked Clinton's speech and found very few to no mistakes, whereas the Republicans said the following "We're not going to let our campaign be dictated by fact checkers". I wonder why.
Jon Stewart also pointed out that Bill Clinton offered more specifics about the Republican plan than the Republicans did themselves. A Romney/Ryan government would be a scary thought, so I'm crossing my fingers such a situation never arises.
As for Clint Eastwood's speech, well, that just summed up some of the Republican policies: Old fashioned, crazy and uncomfortable for a wide range of people.

I will utterly fucking despair if those fundamentalist, big-business cock suckers get into power, I cannot fathom why anyone in their right mind would even consider voting Republican with those morons in charge. However this is America we're talking about...

However this is America we're talking about... Yeah. Their policies literally involve letting the rich grow richer and the poor sink poorer. Healthcare in America is already a pile of shit. These guys want to take a leisure dump on it. They do not even have a credible education plan and they will most certainly lead the world to a new recession. They want to expand the war budget by 2 TRILLION DOLLARS. Romney wants to invade Iran, never mind the fact those guys have nuclear ICBMs now, but that fucking redneck wants to wage war on them. He goes to Jerusalem and calls it the capital of Israel. There was no better way to cut off all oil supply to America than that. He goes to London and shits on the Olympics. Everything this guy does is antagonistic. Apparently the Republicans' slogan of "Keep America American" was the same one used by the KKK in the early 1900s. Talk about irony.
