A Manchester United starlet was arrested after being caught with in a compromising position with a girl in an alleyway.
Northern Ireland under-19 international and former under-17 captain Luke McCullough was arrested by police in the early hours of Monday morning in Liverpool city centre.
Centreback McCullough, 18, from Portadown, was apparently caught on CCTV getting very close to a blonde woman near the city's busy Concert Square at around 5am.
The couple moved into a doorway, but were ticked off by a passing police patrol car.
McCullough, who was the captain of United's academy team last season, walked to another doorway with the 19-year-old woman before being arrested by police.
They were later released with a formal caution.
A Merseyside police spokesperson said: "Merseyside Police can confirm an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were arrested in the early hours of Monday morning in Liverpool city centre for a public order offence.
"Both were taken into custody and spoken to by officers before receiving a formal police caution for a public order offence."
McCullough joined United in July 2010 from Dungannon Swifts, is touted as the next Jonny Evans on the Manchester team's official website.
He was also shortlisted for the young player of the year award last season.
