Has anyone seen much of young Inces` game lately? He really has come on a lot, quick, tricky and now an eye for goal and is begining to attract interest, with Newcastle having a £4m bid rejected before the window closed.I know he is an ex scouser but thankfully he didnt make a senior appearance ;D. Ian Holloway is trying to scare off interest in the lad, Blackpool boss Ian Holloway has told Premier League clubs they have no chance of snaring starlet Tom Ince on the cheap. Ince was let go by Liverpool in 2011 without a top-flight appearance to his name but has since flourished at Blackpool, hitting 16 goals in 29 games last season and four in five so far this term. The Seasiders are reported to have rebuffed a £4million bid from Newcastle for the 20-year-old but, though further approaches are expected in the January window, Holloway has fired an early warning. "I heard this week that my brilliant Blackpool youngster Tom Ince will be heading for the Premier League in January," the Blackpool boss wrote in his Sunday Mirror column. "That might just happen if he maintains the incredible standards he has set in the first few weeks of the season ... but not for the £5m fee being quoted. "I'm not going to say how much interested clubs will have to come up with if they are to prise one of my best players away. But I did note that Liverpool have just paid £15m to Swansea for Joe Allen. "My chairman showed in the way he dismissed below-market-value bids for Matt Phillips this summer that Blackpool won't allow bigger clubs to take liberties with us. "We've got money in the bank following our season in the Premier League and subsequent trip to the Championship play-off finals so we don't need to let our top performers leave on the cheap." www1.skysports.com/football/news/11728/8067099/Ian-Holloway-will-not-let-Tom-Ince-leave-Blackpool-for-5millionI like him and I think he will go on to be a smashing player, definitely one to keep an eye on.

Cracking wee player. Really turned it up at Blackpool, don't know why Liverpool released him at this point.
Wouldn't mind seeing how he'd do at the likes of Everton or Swansea. (Based on the season so far, going to be in the top top-half of teams that won't get European Cup.)

He's carried on from late last season, but it's hard to judge his performances as Blackpool haven't played any of the big hitters in the Championship. Doubt he'll ever rise above Villa/Swansea level.

Early to say but from what I've seen he'll be comfortably Prem class but nowhere near United class.

That's even better. I think saying he won't get better than Villa is severely harsh. Villa are shite. But I take your point. I think mid to high-mid table Premier League could be his platform.

Cant believe this, I remember, on a "United Review" Video - Must have been the 93 season, - It featured Paul Ince who was just returning from injury.
He was being interviewed in his house, and with him was a little baby boy, trying to put on "Daddies football boots" - and here he is now.
Fuck me, Im 26 and I feel old haha

BLACKPOOL’S outstanding winger Tom Ince is ready to follow in famous father Paul’s footsteps by joining Manchester United. Old Trafford boss Sir Alex Ferguson, who signed England midfielder Paul from West Ham in 1989 for £1million, now plans to bring in his son (right), 20. Tom could cost six times more than his father, with United and Championship side Blackpool close to agreeing a £6m fee. He has shone at Blackpool after being released on a free by Liverpool, where he made one first-team appearance as a sub in a League Cup defeat against Northampton Town. www.express.co.uk/posts/view/349197/Manchester-United-eye-Blackpool-starlet-Tom-InceJohn Richardson is a decent journalist with links at United, could be something in this.

If it means Nani is on his bike (for proper money mind) I'd be all over this.

Nani had a good 2nd half yesterday despite the crowd being all over him basically just waiting for him to fuck up every time he got the ball.
I say we give the lad time. He'll hit form again.

Yes let's replace a proven international, Utd POTY from 2011 with a 20 year old who has done well in the Championship after being released by Liverpool allegedly because of his attitude. That'll get us closer to City.
If there was a gif for a nuclear facepalm it would be here.

If Tom is really that good, get him in (£6m for an English lad is a good price), but let's not give up on Nani just yet. We only have 3 wingers (Valencia, Young being the other two).

Just that signing another winger would suggest we're going to sell Nani. I have no problem with that theory, because Nani needs to go. We can't wait for him to find form again any longer. Although he wasn't horrid against Spurs.
