Why can't we wait for Nani to find form any longer? Every player goes through bad spells. Remember when Rooney was fucking awful for half a season? Personally I'm glad we didn't sell him.
We're only in September. Let's see how Nani is doing by January when we actually CAN sell him. I'm sure he will improve. The only reason I'd want him gone is if his attitude is shit and he actually wants to leave.

I would actually extend Nani's contract in January and try to sell him for as much as possible in the Summer - IF we're intending to sell him. Please don't just let him go for a joke £12m in January without a proper elite replacement / promotion from youth.

Forget offloading Nani, we only have 3 wingers anyway, he's needed and will doubtless get enough football this season.
Not seen enough of Ince to judge, sounds like he's playing well in the Championship though

He has to be offloaded. No more deadwood or passengers.

TOM INCE is set to follow in his father’s footsteps and sign for Manchester United in a £4million January deal. SunSport understands dad Paul has been trying to push the move through. The former United midfielder spoke with Alex Ferguson earlier this week in a bid to get the 20-year-old Blackpool ace to Old Trafford. And his intervention appears to have done the trick, with the switch on course for the New Year transfer window. England Under-21 player Ince has been on fire for the Seasiders this season, scoring six times in eight games. He moved to Blackpool from Liverpool only last summer and his two-year deal is due to expire at the end of the current campaign. But Fergie wants him in as soon as possible and is confident of tying everything up in the next two weeks. Ince Snr, 44, played more than 200 times for United between 1989 and 1995, winning two Premier League titles. accommodating an u-21 winger from championship won't necessarily mean offloading Nani. We still have only 3 wingers. Always excited about welcoming a winger, a goal-scoring winger at United

Ian Dowie has rubbished the rumours as mere speculation. That is expected though, as we can't expect a manager to come out and say "Ohh, ya he has been very good for us this season, but we will sell him as soon as we can in Jan to Man United because they are one of the biggest club in the world and we have a fuckin comic nickname as tangerines"

I like how people write him off having probably never seem him play much yet are more than happy to tag Powell as a wonderkid prodigy sensation...
Regardless that he plays in the Championship, 6 goals and 6 assists in 7 games is majorly impressive. Be interesting to see what happens but for £4m it could end up being a steal. Let's be honest, he's left footed so if signing him helps wipes out the chance of Giggs ever playing on the wing again it's a no brainer!

^^^ But I'm also equally surprised that people are slating him the best thing since slice bread having only just started the championship and some only watching him play a few handful of games... to be better than a premier league player that is Nani who has time after time scored, assisted and voted MVP.
I'm all for bringing in the kid for £4million though. Just think there needs to be certain realism if we get him or any other young lad in. If he shines, good on him; if he doesn't I hope people won't turn on him as they have with Carrick, Park, De Gea, Nani, Berbatov, Evra and Rooney.
Btw, we've signed Powell and he's not starting ahead of Giggs in the middle, so I hope people realise that the notion we put Tom Ince straight into the team is a bit... far fetched. As it is, Anderson, Cleverley are warranted more chance in the first team, but they only get the chance once in every while. Heck, Wooton and Keane were overlooked too when we had problems with defenders.

Its a Gamble and hopefully it pays , as we haven't really messed up in the "Winger" position transfers.

Giggs could still be at our club as PLAYER next year also good he will be. his fitness is unbelievable. he misses less training sessions now than he did in his 20's.
