Not played the demo yet (stupid PSN), but from the videos I have watched, I am impressed with the off the ball players and there movement. On previous games, they tend to just stand there watching, but their runs are much more intelligent.

just dunno if i can arsed with fifa anymore on this generation of consoles. the improvements are minimal each year IMO. best part of 50 quid for the game and if you want to rent it off lovefilm or buy it preowned for a decent price...you've got to buy an online pass to play it over live with yer mates.

Yeah, I hate that about EA. I bought Fight night champion second hand and I couldn't play online. Best boxing game ever by the way. |

I'm getting a host of new games in 2 weeks including Sleeping Dogs and UFC Undisputed 3, the latter of which is apparently pretty fun.

Nice demo. Although bit miffed at the teams given out in the demo. Milan, Dortmund, Arsenal, Citeh, Juve. The game is great though, deffo have been minor improvements, it feels much smoother overall. I also quite like the aesthetic changes to the game. Some new modes too but they arent available on the demo.

That's the same teams that were there in FIFA 12 also. I just hope that the defending is better than in 12, was quite a bit before you could get it wrapped, esp tackling

So I played this last night for the first time, first thoughts are that it's an immense step up from the 2012 version. It had me at first touch control but when Geoff Shreeves came over the commentary to update me on an injury to one of my players I was most impressed!!
Noticable differences being the off the ball runs made by your team-mates, the way you can sheild the ball from the defenders and turn and shoot (one of the goals I scored!!). Just generally think this is going to be an awesome game to play!!

Ditto Rene, noticed all the above first time. I'm curious and excited to see how the matchday thing works when the full game is out and connected to the web etc, could be awesome to have current events discussed and mentioned. Along with being able to play the games of the week etc  |

I'm loving this demo. Looks so smooth. Better passing system, smarter player runs, better defending, easier to take players on. Could be the best FIFA yet. Shit selection of teams for the demo though!

Aye the selection of teams are dire (no United of course  ) but they gameplay is awesome IMO. I read somewhere that during matchday games Jeff Stelling comes over the commentary to update on scored etc coming in. That's pretty cool if it's correct! Absolutely loving the 1st touch control and the ability to take on the defenders though. |

Had to tear myself away from Xbox after realising online was free with Playstation, I've now managed to peer pressure my mates into all buying one haha!!
