Manchester United Increase Scouting Of Prodigy Lucas EvangelistaManchester United may be looking to add to their Brazilian contingent once again, as Portuguese reports suggest that the club have increased their scouting of 17-year-old Desportivo Brasil midfielder Lucas Evangelista. Evangelista is one of a number of young Brazilian talents Manchester United reportedly have first refusal on, in addition to defender Gladstony, striker Aguilar and attacking midfielder Agnaldo. The Brazilian youngsters reportedly make trips to Manchester twice-a-year for training and observation, and according to Portuguese newspaper Record, Sir Alex Ferguson and his scouting contingent have been greatly impressed with Evangelista’s progress, and may look to bring him to the club on a permenant basis, once he turns 18. Record suggest that Belgian side Anderlecht have also been alerted to the 17-year-old’s promising ability, which may tempt Manchester United into triggering a move for the Brazilian before other clubs move in for him. sportsvibe.co.uk/news/football/manchester-united-increase-scouting-of-prodigy-lucas-evangelista-19749/?
