There is only one word to describe what happened to Cole yesterday. SCHOOLED. Lol, you don't half make me laugh and show how bias you are. I dread to think what you'd call what's been happening to Evra a majority of the time recently after you considering that being 'schooled'. |

Evra has been bloody shocking for the best part of 2 years, although has shown some signs of a resurgence recently. But if your point is that Evra hasn't been the best left-back in the world, then I completely agree. That's obvious.
Hence, I didn't mention Evra in the list of left-backs who are better than Cole. "Lol".

How so? Valencia tortured Cole at times yesterday. Then you made a remark about Evra not playing well recently, I agreed.
Where is the wall? Unless your argument is that Evra is the only left-back in world football who can compete with Cole for the title of the best left-back in the world, then I don't know what point you're making.

I also thought Cole was given a thrashing by Valencia yesterday. Both the opening goals came from his flank didn't they? Cole was pretty anonymous against TV7

If I remember rightly, Valencia completed one out of 6/7 dribbles. The time Cole was given a so called thrashing was generally down to Hazard, both goals stemmed from him and him not tracking back allowed us to double up on him.

Cole should have gone with Valencia, no question. He stepped up, and then was left for dead. That was not Hazard not tracking back.

Tell you what Altonian , roles and sides reversed , if we had let a goal in from the left side while playing with Evra and Nani, 9 times out of Ten we'd be blaming Evra for not doing his job.
The fact is Cole choose to take on TV7 and couldn't manage- plain as IMO
