Done this on another forum I'm on so thought I'd give it a go in here. Title is self explanatory really. Plus a bit of fun aswell away from the usual topics.
What is your favourite sporting moment outside football?
Mine is the 5 nations rugby at Wembley in 1999 Wales 32-31 England.
I still remember it to this day aswell, one of the best games I've ever seen.

I used to prefer basketball to football when I was a wee young lad.
I remembered this game on the tele (had to google for full details) of Michael Jordan, 35, who was playing his last game for the Chicago Bulls in one of the final games against Utah Jazz in 1998. They were trailing behind by 3 points with only 40s left away in Utah, and with Scottie Pippen out with an injury, everything looked gloom.
Jordan restarts the offense and scores to cut the lead back to 1. With Jazz attacking now, the Bulls defend and Jordan manages to steal the ball away from Malone, and with his last shot, he gave Bulls the crucial 1 point lead (87 - 86) with only 5s left.
This was Chicago Bulls' 6th championship title in 8 years. Amazing feat.

have a few.
Munster winning the Heineken Cup after looking like they'd never do it.
The England;Aussie test match when Flintoff shook hands with Lee after was a fantastic match.
Atherton vs Donald also amazing couple of hours.
Not a huge golf fan but the Ryder cups are great to watch, none better than this years.
Tyson vs Spinks when it looked like he'd never lose. Tyson vs Douglas was then like something from a dream.
Denver Broncos winning their first Superbowl in 99, again after looking like they'd never do it. I was a huge John Elway fan and I was delighted he did it in the twilight of his career.
But 99 was special for other reasons....

Not a big fan of other sports, but the Rugby World Cup win and the 2005 ashes were exciting.

01-05ish NBA Sacramento Kings team which was always so close but seemed to never get that final bit of luck. Was a huge supporter loved the team and the group of characters. Turned up the NBA prompted officials to make decisions in favor of the LA Lakers their arch rivals., no shock there. Hate David Stern for that.

Boxing for me, the whole Hagler, Sugar, Hitman, Duran era fights were awesome. Then up pops this kid called Tyson and changed the rules!! After that came Benn, Eubank, Watson. As much as i hated Eubank he was an outstanding boxer with a fucking good chin some of the fights between these three were epic, sadly watson very nearly died after a brutal fight with Eubank. This years running with Bolt and the other fella was pretty entertaining as well. Check this out for a first round...
