I thought Pearson was excellent against Dembele tonight. Never gave him an inch. He's a brave fucker, reminds me of Butt.

Ok seriously though. I know we expect our oaf manager to try these lads out next season. Realistically, how many of them will get a chance? And how many SHOULD get a chance.
Lingard I don't see getting a chance, because we are fucking saddled with strikers already. Tons of talent with this lad but I don't see him cracking the team when Chico is a benchwarmer.
Pearson and Pereira on the other hand have a more realistic chance of making it here , if our oaf manager doesn't spend a 100 million more on Osman, Rodwell and Gibson. I think we really should give young Pearson and Pereira a chance in the league cups and FA cup games against lower level opponents.

So Lingard's contract expires in two months according to transfermarkt, can anyone verify this?
Are we on the verge of losing one of our brightest prospects, again?
He has 14 goals and 12 assists in 37 appearances this season for United's u/21s, Birmingham & Brighton (at present).

Strangely enough I don't think we need to worry too much, especially after the Pogba debacle.
He's English too and he really is that good. Excited to see the kid develop!
He reminds me of a thinking man's Tunnicliffe/Strootman, but with a better range of passing and much better on the ball.

Seeing as Cleverley is still at the club at his age, and Young earns a salary, Lingard more than justifies some faith!

The U21's were unlucky to only draw 2-2 at home with Norwich tonight.
James Weir scored two goals to put United 2-0 ahead with only 10 mins left.
However Norwich somehow managed to secure a draw with only 10 men, through a combination of sloppy defending and a dodgy penalty award.
