Petrucci has been injured a while I believe hasnt featured for some weeks unless I missed him.
On Powell if we do the business against Braga we'll have won the group leaving the last 2 ties irrelevant so plenty of time for him to play.
Nice idea on the thread, but this part of the forum is just to obscure and secret. I took about 3 years to notice it. a sticy in the general thread for all academy/u21 stuff would work a treat imo.

True, just thought with it being a youth-esque orientated thread it should be here, didn't want it killed but if it should be moved in order to maintain it up there then definitely. Just found it a mission to keep creating new threads for games in which there are only a handful of posters each time. This one can absorb most of that traffic and news relating to the youngsters.

Anyone else watch Liverpool playing Sterling (a stick figure) and thinking we could do worse on our left hand side to rotate Young in lesser games than giving Daehli a shot? They're both 17.

Kid's gr8 isn't he. But i am not sure , maybe the domestic cup games would have been a better start than PL or CL. That said Gala at home wouldn't be that bad. But we have set a precedence of sorts and i doubt if we will ever start with 17 yo's .  |

I'd be all over that, he's looked a class above most of the time I've seen him for the youths.
Also, he's bulkier than Sterling that's for sure.

Sterling does look very good but lets be honest he's getting loads of game time there because their squad is pretty dire. Downing number 1 winger. Plus there not that much pressure on them, they have plenty enough to stay up but are no where near challenging the top 6. On Daehli he's been bossing up the u-18s, if he keeps it up you could easily say he's eclipsed what Morrison and Pogba did at the age without a hint of sour grapes. |
