I know , still he is really good. We bought in the silva twins when they were what 16-17.
He seems so natural and calm every time i have seen him play.
I know that there are lots of players in the U-21's , but .......

It looks and sounds as though we have some real prospects...I just wonder how much chance they will be given....I mean if we can give Macheda a shot then I really hope that we can get some of the abovementioned a run out too...it doesn't look as though there will be any at the Cluj game though as I don't think anyone is missing...
Maybe if we get past West Ham and get a good draw in the next round of the FA Cup?

I couldn't see it happening anyway but because we have a FA youth cup tie this friday at OT I'm pretty certain all the top youngsters will be kept fresh for that given the emphasis we put on the competition so I wouldn't hold out much hope for any of those elligible for the u18's being involved tomorrow. |

Seems that we won 2-0 away at the Villa so have qualified for the 'elite' round next...goals from Bebe and Macheda....I used to really hope that Macheda had what it took...his loan spells have been terrible and not all down to him and he regularly seems to score for the U-21s....maybe he has found his level? Or can he really get better?

^^ doubt that very much. i'd even agree if you had said that abt Bebe , has he seemed to be able to things better than when he first arrived , with Macheda its just been stagnant

In fact as you say he possibly has improved already. In any case SAF doesn't seem to want to give up just yet. He did shell out a lot of money for him so that could explain it. Happy to see him make some progress.... |

Macheda wont improve much more than what he is now. Flog him or let him have a career in the reserves.
