7pm tonight we take on Newcastle u23s. Weve been so much fun to watch this year. James Garner really looking good. His partnership with Levitt and Galbraith will likely prove the best in the league.
Looks like Laird is out again for a spell which is awful as he was looking phenomenal. Awkward ankle injury in last game but theres been no word publicly on how long.

Subs: Woolston, Traore, Puigmal, McGhee, Elanga.
Taken from Uniteds twitter. Interesting to see Chong here but looking forward to seeing him!

Great first half. Newcastle were so hard to break down for the first 20 odd mins. We dominated the possession but Newcastle were a bit of a danger on the break. I was a little worried Chong was coasting, not really pressing or tracking back enough then boom they up the effort and Chong nabs the first and Ramazani nabs the second 90 seconds apart.
We will probably give them a spanking now.

Chong second goal was a belter. Phenomenal work by left back Brandon William's who tricks his way into the box cuts it back to Chong who takes a touch and surprises the keeper with the shot. Such speed between touch and shot. Great goal
Chong then dribbles front right flank passes to Garner who scores another belter. Garner will be putting down insane stats this year at this rate. Cant believe he has scored again!
4-0 in total. Newcastle definitely should've scored a good opportunity when they were 3 down but generally United defense was good. Some epic last ditch blocks too.
So much fun watching this team

Garner especially and also Chong need to be given opportunities too...

I will be amazed if Garner doesnt get a first team shot before Christmas. He has scored 4 goals in 3 games from defensive midfield!

Just wondering how different this team is in personnel to the one under Sbragia? In any case, the football is chalk and cheese...

Elanga is running riot. 2 goals and an assist in first half. They are now trying to double team him. He is a little selfish in a good way and just keeps turning defenders. It's like men vs boys at times. They have started hacking him so needs be careful.
Dillon Hoogewerf looks good. Very good dribbler and took his goal well but his link up play needs a lot of work and that's fine. He will learn that.
I was worried for the u18s considering so many got promoted but there are a few here to be very excited about
