The wife as got the tea on the go, pork loin steaks, mashed cheese potatoes with fried tomatoes and garden peas, I also have a nice bottle of red wine in the cupboard so I will be washing the tea down with that after, she is a good cook and if I tried making that knowing my luck I would burn everything lol.

The wife gets blocks of Scottish Extra Mature Cheddar cheese and she has to hide it from me as I have eaten a whole block of that many a time. It's nice if you are drinking red wine and have a chunk of it beside you and nibble away while drinking. The smell of the pork loin chops though is driving me bloody crazy atm. |

The wife wanted a break tonight cooking wise as she has been cooking all weekend as we had our grandsons staying so tonight was a carry out night, had a break from a pizza so I had half a chicken with chips and the wife a white pudding supper, washing it all down now with 4 large cold cans of Tennants Lager, the chicken went down a treat and so is the Tenants Lager.

Something I forgot to mention about Xmas in Vermont. We had sugar on snow! Basically, a bowl of fresh snow drizzled with maple syrup. Surprisingly good!
