Nearest KFC is half an hour away, gutted. I've got no fast food in my town. move McDonalds is in driving distance, and I lied about fast food, I meant no fast food chains. We do have a couple of those "everything" places that do pizza, kebabs, burgers, chicken etc.

In my 1st and last years of uni I was just over the road from Picadilly Station, which at the time had a KFC as well as a BK. I was there like 3 times a week.

i won't be happy til KFC is walking wobbling distance.. Love all food. Mexican is top class, chilli with guacamole and refried beans, tortilla's on the side. Asian food I love too. Just printed off a recipe for spicy beef with prawns and bok choy for tonight, can't bloody wait. Indians is, literally, shit hot. Hot curry with a cold beer, now you're talking. Greek food is amazing. Massive Greek population in Melbourne so some great Greek food here, anything to do with lamb swimming in garlic sauce and I'm happy. Just went to Malta recently, food there was good too. Quite Italian in many ways, had rabbit in a tomato sauce with herbs, Maltese speciality, first time I've tried rabbit and it was pretty solid. Tried snails for the first time there as well, nothing too special about them but at least I've give them a whirl. British food gets smashed all over the world but I like simple British fair. Cumberland sausage and mash, a roast Sunday lunch, good quality fish and chips, nothing wrong with any of that stuff. Desert? Hard to beat a good cheesecake. Though anything involved with pastry and cream runs them a pretty close 2nd. Now, time to get back to trying to find out why I'm 16 stone again.
