Yes another Sneijder thread ;D old one was locked and would like to hear peoples opinions on the possibility of it now. soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/1246144/manchester-united-considering-new-wesley-sneijder-bid?cc=5739Written by Miguel Delaney who is generally one of, if not the most reliable journo's when it comes to United. So what do people reckon then, is he past it, is he still worth a punt, has the ship sailed? I for one would snap Moratti's hand off if it involved Nani going the other way. You'd say that hardly any money would be involved so if we can swap the generally incompetent Nani for a player of Sneijder's quality I'd consider it a no brainer. Our general play this season has been tripe a lot of the time so if we can bring in a world class *CREATIVE* playmaker it could help turn these disjointed performances into something a little more pleasing on the eye? I know people will bring up the fact that his wages stopped him from joining us previously and he had a poor season last year (the whole of Inter did), but still, you can't ignore that he's a top top player and would certainly bring something to the team. Kagawa Rooney Sneijder RvP Looks alright doesn't it?

I started to but then realised it was another Sneijder story so cut it short, their all dead in the water because itll never happen, (hence why the last thread got closed). I see where your coming from im just fed up of hearing about him now.

I'll repeat what I said in another thread somewhere.
I do not think a Nani/Wesley swap deal with Inter would be a bad bit of business.

If it was and I mean a huge IF. Id swap Nani and Young for him. Just seems the rumour mill on him has run its course, Id love to see him at OT but unfortunately Itll never happen.
Weve got playmakers just their either injured or out of form, Whats to say he comes to OT then gets injured, you know like everyone else we seem to sign.

Not sure why people think there is no chance of it happening? Have you not heard that he's not being played at Inter due to not accepting a wage cut meaning he'll be sold in January unless it's resolved? If he did leave would he really want to go to somewhere like Russia? I doubt it for obvious reasons plus his wife has got a career in showbiz. We've got playmakers Paul but no one at the level (or probably even close) to that of Sneijder. RvP's not being injured yet has he (touch wood)

now that sneijders stock has fallen a bit, the transfer fee, *possibly* wage demands and importantly the scrutiny/pressure on him and the club should he sign for United should follow and drop as well.
in other words i think it might be a better signing for us now than it was in 2010.
not saying we should go for this though. getting Kagawa settled in should be the priority. and if we are offering Jeff as bait for any player it should be Bale.

10 mil plus nani...that's a crap deal for us. that values sneijder at at least 25 mil....no chance

Thought this had gone away. No offense but seriously why do we need him ,i understand a BTB/ physical/enforcer sort of player like Wanayama or Strootman or Tiote ( if we do indeed go back for him) but Sneijder. NO.
I do think that Kagz and Powell are well enough to be the play makers and Bringing in Sneijder will only hamper Kagz role.
Plus wasn't it true that RVP and Him didn't don't get along . Now why'd you want him then.

There is a certain Mr Petrucci, a very talented playmaker, who would no doubt fuck off back to Italy if we were to sign Sneijder.Lets give some of the fantastic talent we already have a chance instead of further massaging WS`s ego, he had his chance and decided to be a greedy cunt, so fuck him. .
