He is a little old (29) but signing him and Falcao would be an instant fix to get back to the top. I know some would raise their eyebrows at Falcao but we need more firepower, I dont think Welbeck will ever carry us. a player who's real age is one of two numbers and would cost a fucking silly amount of money that story about falcao being older then his listed age was absolute nonsense, he went to great lengths to disprove it, even allowing a picture of his birth certificate to be published in newspapers, you shouldn't believe everything you hear. obviously we won't sign him, he'll cost way more then we would be willing to spend...

I stand by my opinion that Ws and Falc would be an instant fix, however dont think these cheap bastards would pay. Falc would probably help chelsea or arse immensely though.

Don't see the point in Falcao. We've got 4 very good attacking players. If we were to lose Rooney then we should be throwing the kitchen sink at Lewandowski who is free (albeit heading to Bayern). I really want to see a skillful left winger who's a really good crosser. Januzaj would then be used across the 3 in whichever position he is needed on the day.

IS Falcao gonna be available for anything less than 35-40 Mill don't think so. I'd rather if that sort of money was thrown at Reus or maybe another 5 mil on top of it too.
With Roo not going anywhere and signs are that we want to tie him to a new contract don't think Falcao is essential. As for WS not really keen either but if he were available for 8-10Mil then fine not a big gamble and we could get 3-4 years too.
I'd still like us to go at Reus / Fernando / Koke / Herrera and Maybe Shaw/Coentrao

Fuck Falcao. It is not the department that desperately needs attention. Fucks sake I cannot believe people want us to spend 50 million on a 5th striker when we barely have 3 proper midfielders.

Why is Falcao even being mentioned?

Cos some reporter wanted to see if he could bait Moyes into revealing some names and increase paper circulation with lotto numbers as transfer fees but he could only manage a NO from DM and had to go with usual reporter crap and it caught on here as well.
Nothing sells like a United story

Falcao is an unreal player, and if we were well stocked in other areas and had money to burn then I'd happily say "Yup, why not?" He'd improve any team in the world. But we're not well stocked in other areas. We have no decent left back, one quality centre mid (who turns 33 in the summer), no real quality out wide (Januzaj, good as he is, isn't really a winger). Oh, and we don't have a super rich sugardaddy who can plough unlimited funds into the club, so we have to spend the money we have wisely. It'd be like Neuer becoming available and people saying we should sign him simply because he's a very good keeper, completely ignoring the fact we already have a superb keeper of our own.
