3-1 at half time so far in this top of the table game.
I only found a stream in time for our second but it's been a great game from what I've seen, Januzaj has a hattrick of assists after setting up Wilson for the first and then 2 lovely through balls for Daehli to score our second and third, looks like there could well be more goals in this game, for either team.

that was a lovely pass and goal.
Daehli's off would have loved to see him score a hat trick. Wilson's on on his birthday though

4-1 Wilson, another nice little through ball, this time by Weir, and Wilson does what he usually does and rounds the keeper easily before slotting it home.

4-2 FT confirmed.
Good result against Southampton who finished top of our section by 1 point, I don't know if they had made changes to their normal team or not but we looked comfortably better than them, looking forward to the next phase of this competition to see how we fare against the other top teams in the country.

was told that soton would finish above us regardless of the result and hence a lot of squad rotation.
Still Wilson , Daehli were good. I really like if Daehli was given a chance taking a gamble in one of the cup competition or dead rubber games. Same with Bamby

Cheers for the updates. My majig wasnae great so gave up after 10 minutes.
Daehli should be in our first team squad. And Jimmy Wilson seems to know how to get goals.

And Jimmy Wilson seems to know how to get goals.Certainly does, the first was a terrific controlled volley from a Januzaj cross and the second is very similar to a number of goals he's already scored where he comes onto the ball, drifts past the keeper and slots home. It was interesting that when they lost the camera feed they went back to the studio and Clayton Blackmore seems to really like him, saying that he produces world class finishes in training every day and that he's waiting for him to catch fire in games as he has a rocket of a left foot, he was already an exciting talent but when you hear he has even more in his locker then you have to believe he's one to watch, hopefully anyway. |
