For anyone who doesn't know of him, he's a central midfielder who plays for Shaktar. I'd never seen him play before until I saw him against Chelsea and he was outstanding. His break up of play, his passing, movement, energy, basically everything was great.
He's come out with the following supposedly;
"I am closing a deal with an English club. I will play in Manchester in January," he told Calciomercato.
I automatically assumed MCFC with Toure going to ACON but they have already got Barry, Garica, Milner, Rodwell and Nasri who play / can play centrally (not that that would stop them but still).
I'd of expected this to be more public by now if it was City so it makes me wonder whether there is the slim chance of it being us as we are in dire need of a CM. He would be a fantastic signing but I won't even start to get excited yet.
