are they actually in the game? Should be. Might not be in a playable League though. How far down the pyramid does FM13 go? Conference? Its the same as FM12 in that it goes down to the Blue Square South/North leagues, which doesn't include FC United. So you can either edit the game or apparently, at least in FM12, you could create a manager then go on holiday for a year and FC United would then appear in the B/S North League.

Anyone find some away games unfathomably hard? I can be decimating all before me, but then i'll get some game raising cunt all of a sudden neuter me and i'll lose. First season as Utd it hit me pretty hard, 4th overral. Neck and neck in the 2nd season with City in March. So anyone, anyone have tip on dealing with it, should I change up tactics for them?
Had a baffling CL tie with Barca too, got tanked at the Nou Camp, they come to me 5-0 easy.

United beat me in the 2019 European Cup final. 3-1, Hernandez Nani and Rooney (x2) for Utd, Jürgen Hertel (newgen) for me. Played well enough but United are just a better team.

He's 33. Still good, he's aged well for an FM over-30. Hernandez is freaking lethal. "Watched" a couple of United games and looked at his season stats before the final and he's been banging the goals in for years. Plays like real life, runs the channels and uses his pace to cause havoc. Did for my defence anyway, and I had an Argentinan-capped right full-back, arguably the best young CB of our time and 2 German internationals in my back line.
It's actually easy to imagine Utd smashing the League every year with him, Rooney, and a surprisingly good Macheda and Welbeck up front.

Well FM did say that Kerlon (the seal dribble kid) was going to be the next Pelessdonnaldo (Pele / Messi / Maradonna / Ronaldo) all rolled into one

This'll restore your faith: Torres stayed at Liverpool, got really terrible, and then left on a free to play for Elche. Not quite the £ 50 million flop to Chelsea, but still pretty good. Liverpool generally contest the 8th to 15th spots in the League, and have a reputation dropped to 'National'. They signed Frazier Campbell a few seasons ago, he scored 20-odd goals, then he requested a transfer and moved to Spurs for less money than Liverpool paid after one season, for no other reason than he didn't like playing there.
